Pulau Ubin & Chek Jawa – Rustic Singapore & A Wetlands Treasure

$120.00$550.00

Escape the hustle and bustle of city life and visit Pulau Ubin, a quaint and tranquil island off mainland Singapore, and experience being transported back in time to the kampong days of Singapore in the 1960s. One of the two remaining kampongs in Singapore, Pulau Ubin boasts lush greenery and abundant wildlife, drawing nature lovers and outdoor enthusiasts to explore the many wonders of this rustic granite island. It is said that the food tastes better, the air is fresher and the sights and sounds are very soothing for the soul on Pulau Ubin. Tucked away in a corner of Pulau Ubin is one of Singapore’s unique and natural gem – Chek Jawa Wetlands. As one of Singapore’s richest ecosystems, this is where sandy beach, rocky beach, seagrass lagoon, coral rubble, mangroves and coastal forest all meet and mix! This wetland treasure has been attracting both locals and visitors since its discovery in 2000.
