Day 01 – ARRIVE TOKYO

Airport transfer from Narita/Haneda Airport to Tokyo city hotel for check-in.


Day 02 – TOKYO: HALF-DAY CITY TOUR  [B]

After breakfast, proceed for a tour of Tokyo city.  Highlights include: Tsukiji Market (the world’s largest and busiest open-air wholesale fish and food market) and Tokyo Imperial Palace (the primary residence of the Emperor of Japan).  End the tour at Ginza, Tokyo’s most famous upmarket shopping, dining and entertainment district, with numerous renowned fashion/cosmetic brand names from around the world, popular department stores and countless restaurants and night clubs. 


Day 03 – TOKYO: HALF-DAY CITY TOUR  [B]

After breakfast, proceed to visit Senso-ji Temple (the oldest and most-visited Buddhist temple in Tokyo) and Nakamise-dori (a highly popular 250m long shopping street with one end connecting to the main gate of Senso-ji).  Thereafter, continue on to visit the 634m tall Tokyo Skytree (an iconic television broadcasting tower and landmark of Tokyo) with observation decks, an aquarium and numerous shops and restaurants.


Day 04 – TOKYO – MOUNT FUJI – HAKONE – TOKYO  [B]

After breakfast, head out for a full-day tour of Mt Fuji (3,773m), a UNESCO World Heritage Site and a widely-known symbol of Japan.  Highlights include: Mt Fuji 5th Station (which at about 2,300m affords beautiful views of the Fuji Five Lakes and Fuji Hakone Izu National Park), Lake Ashi boat cruise and a ride on Hakone Ropeway over Hakone Owakudani volcanic valley.  Return to Tokyo in the evening.


Day 05 – TOKYO: HALF-DAY CITY TOUR  [B]

After breakfast, visit Nihonbashi District.  Highlights include: Nihonbashi Bridge (the “Japan Bridge” that still holds the marker used to measure distance to the capital), Mitsukoshi (Japan’s oldest department chain store), Bank of Japan Head Office (Japan’s central bank), Fukutoku Shrine (first built in 9th century and where believers pray for lottery wins!) and Nihonbashi traditional shops (with some operating since the Edo period).


Day 06 – DEPART TOKYO  [B]

Transfer from hotel to airport for your departure flight.
