Day 01 Lisbon.-

Day 02 Lisbon.-
TODAY’S HIGHLIGHTS: Visit Lisbon. Transfer from Restauradores Square.
In the morning we have a sightseeing tour with a local guide (note: Explanations may be given by our guide if the group has fewer than twelve people). We visit traditional neighborhoods, which take in the Belem district, which is the birthplace of the great Portuguese navigators who sailed the oceans in the Fifteenth Century. We shall look round the Monument to the Discoveries, Belem Tower, and the beautiful Jeronimos Monastery, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The afternoon is free so that you can explore this great city independently. We suggest you to take the ¨Elevador da Gloria¨ that brings you to the Upper district and its viewpoint.
In the evening, we include a return transportation from Restauradores Square, full of atmosphere with its bars, cafes and restaurants.

Day 03 Lisbon – Estremoz – Caceres – Madrid.-
TODAY’S HIGHLIGHTS: Estremoz “marble town”. Medieval centre of Caceres.
We travel across the beautiful region of Alentejo and arrive at the charming town of Estremoz, known as the “marble town” with its white houses, cobblestone streets, beautiful architecture and medieval castle. Next, we continue on our way through the green lands of the centre, passing into Spain, and over grasslands we cross the North of Extremadura and finally arrive in Caceres for a walk through its historic centre. Encircled by 12th-century Moorish walls and 30 towers, this old town with cobbled medieval streets, fortified houses and palaces is one of the best-preserved medieval and Renaissance complexes in the world. Continuation to MADRID. Arrival at the end of the day. We include transportation to Plaza Mayor where you can enjoy at some typical taverns.

Day 04 Madrid.-
TODAY’S HIGHLIGHTS: Madrid city tour. Stroll through the Retiro Park. Visit to the Santiago Bernbeu Stadium. Night transfer.
The day starts about 08.30 hrs with a comprehensive tour through the centre of Madrid including Paseo del Prado, Cibeles, Neptuno, the Gate of Alcalá, Plaza de Colón and Plaza Mayor. Visit to Retiro Park, an oasis in the city centre, where we will see the lake and the Glass Palace. Admission (included) to the Santiago Bernabeu Stadium, the football stadium of Real Madrid. Explore the areas reserved for the players as well as the public areas and the small museum. Enjoy the rest of the afternoon at your own leisure.
In the evening, a return transfer is provided back to the hotel.

Day 05 Madrid – Zaragoza – Poblet – Barcelona.-
TODAY’S HIGHLIGHTS: Basílica del Pilar. Visit to a medieval monastery.
We depart early in the morning from Madrid. Heading towards Aragón, we pause our journey in ZARAGOZA. Our guide will join the group to Basílica del Pilar. Afterwards the group will have free time to visit this impressive sanctuary and enjoy the city centre. Later, we make our way to Cataluña to the Monastery of Poblet (entrance included), surrounded by walls in a beautiful setting, this is one of the best preserved medieval monasteries in the world.
Continuation to BARCELONA, arrival in the evening.

Day 06 Barcelona.-
TODAY’S HIGHLIGHTS: city tour of Barcelona.
In the morning, enjoy a tour of the city, famous for La Ramblas, the works of Gaudi, and the memories of the Olympic Games. We will see the Columbus Monument, Plaza de Cataluña, Paseo de Gracia, Diagonal, Sagrada Familia, Montjuic with its Olympic facilities, Plaza de España and ending in the Ramblas area where you can walk around the historic centre and Gothic quarter. After the city tour, you may choose to join an optional visit to Sagrada Familia or enjoy the afternoon at your own leisure.
