The tour starts off with a land tour of Pulau Ubin where, in addition to visiting one of Singapore’s authentic kampongs, you will get to experience the rich biodiversity of the island – from imposing banyan – Lord of the Rings – trees to colourful butterflies and possible sightings of hornbills… and more! Next, board a boat to explore the numerous fish-farms, aka kelongs, in the waters off Pulau Ubin and also catch iconic sights of both Pulau Ubin and the Singapore mainland from the boat as it traverses to the far western and eastern ends of Pulau Ubin. During the ride, the boat will take you up close to some kelongs where the tour guide will explain how the kelongs operate in relation to the capture and farming of marine fauna in particular.

The highlight of this tour is that you will get a special visit to a working fish-farm (kelong)!
